LUCIANO LUSSIGNOLI, architect Founding partner, president and technical director of Lussignoli Associati S.r.l. Graduated in architecture from Milan Politecnico in 1979 and enrolled with the professional association the following year. Began his professional career straightaway. In 1986 began teaching at the architecture faculty of Milan Politecnico; since 1995 contract professor at the same university for the teaching of town planning. Teaching and research work has mainly concentrated on subjects relating to the study of the landscape and the problems linked to its safeguarding and valorisation, as demonstrated by the numerous degree dissertations for which he has been supervisor, scientific publications and the advisory work for the Lombardy regional authorities (advice on drafting policies for territorial planning, of landscape relevance, by the provincial administrations, 1995; participation in working groups for the drafting of criteria for application of Regional Law no. 12/2005 for drawing up plans for government of the territory and for the strategic environmental assessment procedure, 2005). During his professional career he has dealt with town planning and design as well as architectural design and the management of complex projects. Within Lussignoli Associati he is responsible for general coordination, design and supervision.
